Winning Streak!

Full reports to come soon, but Selkirk earned their first Border League victory of the season against Melrose the Saturday before the annual Common Riding break and, this evening, continued their winning ways with an eight wicket triumph against Kelso in the Border League 20/20 league.

Batting first, Kelso struggled to 90 for 7 off their alloted 20 overs before Selkirk cruised home with eight wickets and 5.3 overs to spare.

On Sunday afternoon the Souters host Langholm in another 20/20 fisture  – this time in the Murgatroyd National Knock-Out Cup. All members are encouraged to lend their support and reminded too that the club’s new widescreen television makes the lunge an excellent place to watch the England vs Germany World Cup match.
