An Auld Acquaintance Renewed

When Selkirk moved to Philiphaugh in 1872 the ground was officially opened with a match against Grange CC. The capital side were regular visitors to Selkirk in the years that followed but in recent seasons the fixture has lapsed. So it is pleasing to report that it will be renewed this summer as a Grange XI will come to Philiphaugh on Sunday July 10th.

That first match between the clubs was won by Selkirk who made 101/5 before dismissing the Edinburgh men for just 76. A similar result this year would be just as pleasing.
